Swing to Save Tournament Raises Over $40,000 for Cumberland Heights

The 2025 John W. McDougall Co. Swing to Save Golf Tournament brought together sponsors, players, and supporters from across the region with one goal: to make a difference for those impacted by addiction.

Thanks to the generosity of everyone involved, including sponsors, golfers, drawing ticket buyers, and donors – this year’s tournament surpassed our $40,000 fundraising goal, bringing in a total of $40,051 to support the work of Cumberland Heights Treatment Center.

The funds raised will directly benefit Cumberland Heights, a Tennessee-based non-profit that has been helping individuals and families overcome addiction for nearly 60 years. With approximately 20 locations across the state, Cumberland Heights provides comprehensive, evidence-based care for teens and adults, blending proven traditions with modern innovations in treatment.

Even rain couldn’t dampen the spirits of our participants. Golfers showed incredible dedication, sticking it out through the weather and turning the day into a memorable celebration of community and purpose. As the storm passed, a pair of rainbows stretched across the sky, a picturesque reminder of hope and renewal that perfectly reflected the spirit of the event.
