A truly beautiful piece of architecture – now complete and open to the public! The Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach, FL just went through a $100M expansion. In a partnership between John W. McDougall Company, Engineered Wall Systems Midwest and Kistler McDougall Corp., we fabricated and installed 16,799 sq. ft. of polished silver stainless steel paneling to form the cantilevered roof of the addition – working with cutouts around an 80 year old banyan tree that is now the focal point of the new entrance. The architect that designed this gorgeous expansion is the prestigious Foster + Partners. The general contractor is Gilbane Building Company. Photo credits to Nigel Young.
